Abstract: You will hear how 7-Eleven is leveraging solutions in technology to solve issues related to fraud, loss, and operational deficiencies.  The solutions discussed will include Asset Protection Exception Based Reporting, Case Management, and Digital Video Recording.  A key discussion will be how 7-Eleven believes that the keys to success hinge predominantly on both the integration of these tools and building technology infrastructure that supports both today and tomorrow.
Biography:

Mark Stinde is Sr. Director, Asset Protection for 7-Eleven, Inc.  Mark’s responsibilities include support for over 7,000 stores in the United States and Canada.

Mark has over 22 years of experience in asset protection, safety, and store operations.  Prior to 7-Eleven, Inc., Mark held several key Asset Protection, Safety and operations roles in varying retail formats.  Mark has held the position of Vice President, Asset Protection for Circuit City Stores, Divisional Vice President, Sears Holdings Corporation.  Mark spent many years with The Home Depot, holding roles as Loss Prevention Director, Sr. Director Asset Protection, and District Manager, Operations.  Mark serves on the Loss Prevention Steering Committee for the Retail Industry Leaders Association, serves on the editorial board for Loss Prevention Magazine, has served on the Board of Advisors for the Loss Prevention Research Counsel, and has been active in many other LP trade organizations.
